College Space experience design
Changing the perspective of experiencing a certain space, which we otherwise do not take notice of, was the idea behind this exercise. Through this concept, I have tried to give the campus a new chit-chat 'runway', which is otherwise just a corridor walkway that the students use to hustle through to their classrooms.
Conceptualising the experience : Shadows are my inspiration here.
Random shadows (represented by these silhouettes) were cut out and placed on the railing seat..
The area was soon occupied by curious students who spent time experiencing this zone which is mostly deserted... They even tried to imitate the actions shown in the cut-outs..
